DEVON, PA - There's only one event on the Main Line that truly brings in the whole world, the Devon Horse Show. The 2019 Horse Show runs from May 23rd to June 2nd, and showcases some of the world's greatest equestrian talent, from junior riders competing in jumping courses to Olympic level riders competing in the Grand Prix, an event where riders have a chance to win up to $62,500. It's for this reason that rider's come from all over the country and even overseas to compete in the horse show.

The horse show also gives locals a source of entertainment, with the County Fair portion of the horse show being a big attraction for kids and the Horse Show itself serving as a calm, relaxing event for adults to sit back and watch with the family. And with all of the food services inside of the show grounds, families can stay at the show all day without needing to leave for meals.

But aside from all the glitz and glamour of it all, the horse show serves as an important part of the Main Line economy and maintaining many local services, namely Bryn Mawr Hospital, the main benefactor of the Horse Show. The Horse Show employs hundreds of workers to maintain the buildings and erect every temporary structure in the months leading up to the show. Not to mention the platform that it gives small local businesses to both sell products and advertise themselves to a massive local audience.

Tickets for the Horse show are available at the front gate and can vary in price depending on where you choose to be seated.
