Andrew McKeough's OSCAR Predictions

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA - After today’s release of the 92nd Academy Award nominations, actor and AKSM CEO, Andrew McKeough, put out his predictions of who he thinks will win this year’s awards. During a statement to the press, McKeough said that, “[he is] disappointed in the lack of diversity in this years selection of nominees.”

When asked about Sankofa being left off this year’s list he added that, “Sankofa is a truly special film that tells a very important story. The film in itself holds all the esteem, praise and respect that it needs. In October it won a Student Academy Award, and the Academy has been very generous with its respect towards the Riptide team and Sankofa. It has also gone on to win numerous other awards and film festivals that I believe are a testament to it’s impact on the worldwide community. Sankofa doesn’t need a Academy Award because it’s impact is much greater than any award can be.”

McKeough chose two nominees from each category. One as the winner and a second as a runner up citing that there is a “wide range of talent from this year’s pool of nominees.” McKeough also stated that, “[he is] disappointed in the lack of diversity in this years selection of nominees.”
