Dear friends & family,

We are incredibly excited to celebrate our wedding with you. To create the perfect experience and enjoy a vacation atmosphere with an incredibly beautiful backdrop, we have decided to celebrate in Corfu.

Greece, and especially the Ionian Islands in the Adriatic, have been a vacation destination we've loved to visit as a couple for many years, and Adrian has also spent much time there as a child. Therefore, this place holds a special significance in our hearts.

We can't wait to share these special moments with you! Jámas!

On Thursday evening, we warmly invite you to relaxed welcome drinks, likely happening in our villa. Enjoy the first hours in Corfu and toast with us to the coming days! Further details will follow.

Boat tour & dinner

On Friday, an exciting boat tour along the coasts of Corfu awaits those who are interested. In the evening, we'll conclude the day with a joint rehearsal dinner. Further details will follow.

Wedding Day

We begin at 4:00 PM in the Taverna “Eucalyptus”. Both the ceremony and the dinner and after-party will take place there. We look forward to an unforgettable party with you!

Accomodation

We recommend finding accommodation (hotel, vacation rental) near the Eucalyptus Taverna in the village of Agios Stefanos Sinion (aka San Stefano - note: there are 2 places called “Agios Stefanos” in Corfu) in northeastern Corfu, to make local travel easier. Please do not underestimate the size of Corfu: from the far south, it takes about 2 hours to drive to the Eucalyptus Taverna We also recommend renting a car at Corfu Airport, as public transportation and taxis/Uber are largely unavailable. For the wedding on Saturday, we will organize a shuttle service.

In Agios Stefanos Sinion, there are dozens of vacation homes and apartments. Here are some of our recommendations (likely bookable from June 2025)

 

  • If you are traveling alone or as a couple, we recommend several smaller vacation apartments nearby:

Activites in Corfu

Corfu has a lot to offer and we have already had the opportunity to visit many beautiful corners of this enchanting island on 3 trips. Our highlights:

    • Mbarbarti Beach: pebble beach with clear water.

    • Agios Georgios: Sandy beach and nice tavernas.

    • Porto Timoni: Rocky beach in a secluded bay with clear water for snorkeling, accessible via a rocky path or a boat.

    • Roda and Acharavi: Longer beaches, ideal for families and relaxing days by the sea.

    • Pantokrator” mountain: The highest point on the island with a breathtaking view of the sea and neighboring islands. Hikes lead through beautiful nature, and there is a monastery and a viewing platform at the top.

    • Kanoni peninsula: Beautiful bays and vantage point with panoramic views.

    • Old and New Fortress in Corfu Town: These fortresses offer a historic view of the island and its defense history.

    • Excursion to Albania: From Corfu Town, you can get to Saranda or Ksamil in Albania in just a few minutes by boat.

    • The monastery of Paleokastritsa: A historic monastery located on a hill and one of the most famous sights on Corfu.

    • The village of Old Perithia: An abandoned mountain village that offers an interesting mix of tradition and history.

 FAQ

  • Flights and accomodations are bookable from June 2025.

  • Corfu is easily accessible by plane. Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport (CFU) connects Corfu with many European cities (2-3hr flight time). There are also ferry connections from Italy (Venice, Ancona, Brindisi) with the possibility of traveling by car / train.

  • We recommend to arrive at least two days before the wedding (Thursday 22.05.26) in order to be able to participate in the pre-events.

  • May in Corfu is warm and sunny, with temperatures between 20°C and 30°C. Rain is not likely, but possible. As it is still low season in Greece, we expect few tourists. It is advisable to bring light clothing. For the evening, a light sweater or jacket might be helpful in case it cools down a bit.

  • 1) There are 2 “Agios Stefanos” in Corfu. We are in “Agios Stefanos Simion” in the northeast, opposite the Albanian coast.

    2) Please note the long distances on Corfu.
