PHILADELPHIA - Chief White House Correspondent Emily Barkann is a fiancee! The exciting news was released on Saturday by the Emmy award winning journalist on her Instagram account and in a statement by AKSM Media earlier Saturday afternoon, Barkann and her fiancee, Joe Coopersmith have been together since their days back at Syracuse University. The engagement took place at 12:30 Saturday afternoon in the beautiful Rittenhouse Square section of Philadelphia. 

NBC Sports commentator Michael Barkann, the father of Emily Barkann, wrote via Instagram “The Yiddish word kvell means literally bursting with pride. I am kvelling over these two - today and always. Mazel Tov - let's have a wedding!”
