PHILADELPHIA - In the final hours before Election Day, Vice President Kamala Harris’s supporters are gathering on November 4th at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for a final rally. Influential figures like Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin and Oprah Winfrey will be attending the rally in Philadelphia, while Katy Perry is set to perform at the Pittsburgh rally earlier in the day. Within the past few weeks, various artists have taken to the polls and addressed the crowds at rallies across the country to garner support for Harris. Among the bunch are Cardi B, Usher, Bruce Springsteen, Eminem, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, and of course, Beyoncé, who has allowed the Harris-Walz campaign to use her song “Freedom” as a historical and energetic anthem.

Despite the numerous endorsements by well-known figures in the entertainment industry, Swifties patiently waited for Taylor Swift to make a move. On September 10, the night of the Presidential Debate, the world took to Instagram to read Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris, which received 11 million likes. Her boyfriend, tight-end for the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce, followed in her footsteps and shortly after, endorsed Kamala Harris as well. Many Americans wondered when the time would be for Taylor Swift to come out and speak at a Harris Rally.

As the U.S. leg of the Eras Tour ended last night in Indianapolis, she has a gap in her schedule that would make it possible for her to make a stop in Philadelphia. A Pennsylvania native herself, Swift has grown up in the swing state and has a real chance to make a difference in this election through her Swifties. Swift quickly took to social media to shut down any rumors of her supporting former President Donald Trump and signed her Harris endorsement, “Childless Cat Lady” dissing JD Vance’s comment earlier in the campaign.

Unfortunately, the performers and appearances were announced yesterday, and Swift’s name was left off the list. Some people believe she will be the surprise guest, while others think she will be in Kansas City cheering on the Chiefs for her boyfriend Kelce at his game. Only time will tell, but a Taylor Swift guest appearance would be an impactful move for the Harris-Walz campaign as a final push to get Swifties to the polls.
