Jill Biden Attends Eagles NFC Championship Game in Philadelphia

On January 29th, 2023, one of the most important nights in professional football, Dr. Biden attended the NFC Championship game at Lincoln Financial Field.

PHILADELPHIA - On Sunday evening, the Philadelphia Eagles faced off against the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship. The winner of this game goes on to the Super Bowl in Arizona.

The First Lady flew in with President Biden on Marine One early Sunday morning to Delaware Air National Guard Base (DANG) in New Castle County, Delaware showcasing her Eagles pride by wearing a sweatshirt with the team logo on it. 

She was seen sitting in a box suit with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. The two were seen on camera chatting and enjoying the game. She was joined with her grandson Hunter, son of late Beau Biden. The two shared a selfie together at the game.

Dr. Biden grew up in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, just north of Philadelphia, which she named the First Cat, Willow, after. 

The Eagles won with a final score of 31-7 over the 49ers, advancing them to the 2023 Super Bowl.
