AKSM Digital to Launch Political Social Accounts

WASHINGTON - In preparation for the presidency of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, AKSM Media’s Office of Digital Strategy and AKSM Digital will launch social media accounts for AKSM Media’s CEO, Andrew McKeough, to express his political standing publicly.

In addition, the Office of Government and Political Affairs will launch their official Twitter using the handle, @AKSMPolitics, on January 20th at noon. This account will be used to promote the office’s agenda and policies as well as any local, state, national or international position that AKSM Media decides to comment on.

Mr. McKeough’s accounts will use the handle @mckeough46 on Instagram and Twitter and will become public on January 20th at 12 noon. The accounts will give Mr. McKeough the opportunity to express his personal political platform in regards to the current administration.

Mr. McKeough’s accounts will not serve as an official platform, stance or message of approval from AKSM Media but rather the personal beliefs of Mr. McKeough. AKSM Media’s Office of Government and Political Affairs’ Digital Office will monitor the accounts to make sure they are providing accurate information.

Andrew McKeough and Mariana Marquez, Senior Vice President for Government and Political Affairs, will keep their personal social media accounts on Instagram and Twitter with the @andrewmckeough and @marianamqzm handles.

Mr. McKeough has a deep connection to the Biden-Harris Administration and this will serve as a place for him to comment on the administration’s policies.
