Statement by Andrew McKeough on the Passing of
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom
Today has been written in the history books as the world mourns the passing of the matriarch of the world. Queen Elizabeth will forever remain one of the world's iconic historical figures. On behalf of the entire McKeough Family - both in the United States and in Ireland - we extend our deepest condolences to the citizens of the United Kingdom including His Majesty the King and the entire Royal Family.
The Queen's 96 years of life and over 70 years of reign have been marked by many historical events and landmarks which made her the longest reigning monarch in history. Her grace and diplomacy were key to her success as a prominent leader on the world stage. She was respected by every country both friendly or not and her dedication to her charities created lasting impacts on the underprivileged.
She is now at peace with her loving and dedicated husband, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, who passed away in April of 2021 after 73 years of marriage.
Our family is holding the Royal Family and the United Kingdom in our prayers and hearts as we mourn alongside the world.
