Statement by Andrew McKeough on
Outgoing White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain
Soon, we will say goodbye to Ron Klain as White House Chief of Staff. Ron has served our country with distinction and has been a trusted advisor to President Biden. His leadership, experience, and dedication have been invaluable during his time in the White House.
During his tenure, Ron played a critical role in coordinating the federal response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and helped to guide our nation through one of the most challenging periods in recent history. He has also been a strong advocate for policies that promote economic growth, social justice, and environmental sustainability.
We are grateful for Ron's service and wish him all the best in his future endeavors. He will be greatly missed, but his contributions to our country will not be forgotten.
It's a great loss for the White House and nation, but we are confident that Jeff Zients will continue Ron’s legacy of leadership and dedication to the Executive Branch.
